I'm Lukas. I've spent 18 years building — foundations, wall assemblies, enclosures, the parts that decide whether a building lasts. I've also watched a lot of people sign bids they didn't understand and find out at framing what it really cost.

Why I built the Guesstimator

Owners should be able to see the math. Builders do better work when the client understands the number. Both are true.
